Swiss Government Signs Deal for COVID-19 Treatment

The Swiss government has entered into an agreement with Zurich-based Molecular Partners to secure up to 3.2 million doses of its investigational COVID-19 treatment MP0420.

The government will pay for an initial supply of 200,000 doses, with the option to purchase 3 million more doses if the treatment is approved. The company said the pricing will depend on the final therapeutic dose.

Molecular Partners plans to begin clinical studies of the treatment in the fourth quarter of 2020.
