Former Indivior Exec Pleads Guilty in Suboxone Marketing Case

Indivior’s former Global Medical Director Timothy Baxter has pleaded guilty to a one-count misdemeanor for misbranding Suboxone as part of the Department of Justice’s ongoing investigation.

Baxter pleaded guilty to one count of causing the introduction or delivery for introduction into interstate commerce of a drug that is misbranded. The offense carries a maximum penalty of $100,000 and imprisonment for one year.

Former Indivior CEO Shaun Thaxter also pleaded guilty to a one-count misdemeanor for the same charge in June. He will be sentenced on Sept. 29.
