Omega Diagnostics Gets CE Mark for Mologic’s COVID-19 Test

Omega Diagnostics said it has earned a CE mark for its licensed version of Mologic’s rapid, point-of-care COVID-19 antibody test.

The test can detect three antibodies to the coronavirus – IgA, IgG and IgM – for early identification of infected patients.  The company is currently seeking an emergency use listing for the diagnostic from the World Health Organization.

Omega said it will handle production of the test and will initially be able to manufacture up to 100,000 tests weekly at its facility in Scotland.
