Theranica Obtains CE Mark for Migraine Treatment

Theranica has earned a CE mark certification for Nerivio, a wearable device used for the acute treatment of migraines.

The device, which has already received 510(k) clearance from the FDA, is worn on the upper arm and controlled via smartphone. It delivers remote electrical neuromodulation to mitigate pain caused by migraines.

Nerivio’s smartphone app helps keep track of migraine episodes and offers analytics that can be shared with healthcare professionals for monitoring patients and informing the treatment of migraines.
