FDA Clears Nobio’s Dental Composites for Tooth Decay

Nobio’s Infinix family of dental composite products has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for reducing tooth decay.

Clinical trial results showed that the antibacterial composites significantly reduced tooth demineralization, a process in which bacteria generate acids that dissolve teeth and lead to advanced-stage cavities.

The company plans to begin commercial sales of the Infinix products by the end of the year and is offering a free starter kit of composites to dentists.
