RADLogics’ Collapsed Lung AI Solution Cleared

RADLogics has earned 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA for its chest X-ray pneumothorax software application for detecting suspected cases of collapsed lung.

The artificial intelligence-based app uses pattern recognition to process chest X-rays and automatically detect signs of a collapsed lung, enabling radiologists to quickly review and prioritize cases.

The company developed its product using machine learning in a multicenter study for detecting pneumothorax in hundreds of chest X-rays.
