Zymo Research Grabs CE Mark for Sample Collection Devices

Zymo Research has been granted a CE mark for three of its DNA/RNA Shield sample collection products for in vitro diagnostic applications.

The company said that its collection tube and swab, saliva/sputum collection kit and fecal collection tube all earned the European certification. All three products immediately inactivate pathogens, improving the safety of sample transportation.

“The CE mark allows us to support many more clinical labs and organizations globally, including those performing COVID-19 testing during the current pandemic,” the company said.
