Medtronic announced that it has implanted the first patient in its study of the InterStim Micro system, a rechargeable sacral neurostimulation (SNS) system.

The InterStim Micro is the world’s smallest rechargeable SNS device and has a lifespan of 15 years, Medtronic said.
