Tyber Medical’s Foot and Ankle Plating Systems Cleared by FDA

The FDA has granted Tyber Medical 510(k) clearance for its foot and ankle plating systems for treatment of a range of deformities and degenerative conditions.

The agency’s clearance covers more than 42 different plates that can stabilize fractures and can be used for joint fusions, revision surgeries, and re-plantations in adult patients.

The plating systems feature a 30-degree, multi-angle locking mechanism designed to provide greater stability between the plate and screw.
