DiaSorin’s COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test CE Marked

DiaSorin has obtained CE mark certification for its Liaison SARS-CoV-2 antigen test, a rapid test for COVID-19 infections that runs on the company’s high-throughput analyzers.

The assay detects the virus using nasal dry swabs and nasopharyngeal swabs from patients showing signs of infection. The company is also developing the test for use with saliva samples.

DiaSorin said it will be capable of producing up to 10 million of the tests per month soon after it launches the product.
