Soliton Names Brad Hauser as New CEO

Soliton, a company developing an acoustic shockwave tattoo removal system, has selected Brad Hauser as its new president and CEO.

The company selected Hauser, an aesthetic device industry veteran, as it gears up to launch its Rapid Acoustic Pulse (RAP) product. The device is cleared by the FDA to accelerate tattoo removals using acoustic shockwaves but has not yet received clearance for removing cellulite.

Hauser most recently served as general manager and vice president of research and development for Allergan Aesthetics’ CoolSculpting, a fat reduction system that uses cryolipolysis, a procedure that freezes and kills fat cells.
