Sweden’s OssDsign Buys Bone-Graft Developer Sirakoss for $11 Million
November 5, 2020
Swedish devicemaker OssDsign has acquired UK-based Sirakoss, the developer of Osteo3 ZP Putty, for $11 million plus additional milestone and royalty payments.
Sirakoss’ Osteo3 ZP Putty, a synthetic bone-graft substitute used for bone repair, received 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA in June. The putty is used to fill voids during spine and trauma bone-grafting procedures and to promote rapid bone growth.
OssDsign said it will begin marketing the bone-graft product in the U.S. immediately.
