SyntheticMR Files for 510(k) Approval for Musculoskeletal MRI Software

November 19, 2020

SyntheticMR announced that it has submitted an application for 510(k) clearance for its SyMRI MSK software, a solution that provides magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences to help diagnose musculoskeletal issues.

The software provides radiologists with multiple-contrast images and quantitative information that can be used in the diagnosing of knee, shoulder, ankle and spine issues.

SyMRI MSK conducts six-minute scans that produce a range of contrast-weighted images and quantitative maps for clinical and research practices for musculoskeletal anatomies and joints, including the spine.
