Sofwave Medical Gets CE Mark and Israeli Clearance for Ultrasound Skin Therapy

Sofwave Medical has been granted CE mark certification and Israeli regulatory approval for Sofwave, a system for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction.

The noninvasive treatment uses ultrasound beams to improve skin laxity and reduce wrinkles on the face and neck. It can be used on all skin types and features real-time skin temperature monitoring to ensure safety and accuracy.

Treatment with the device takes 30 to 45 minutes and does not cause any downtime or post-treatment discomfort in patients, the company said.
