FDA Clears CorticoMetrics’ Quantitative AI Solution for Brain MRIs

CorticoMetrics has received FDA 510(k) marketing clearance for THINQ, artificial intelligence-based software that conducts volumetric measurements and visualizations of the brain.

The software automatically segments a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain image, assembling a report of volumetric measurements and visualizations of 30 important brain structures. It is designed to help improve the assessment of a number of neurological disorders and conditions.

THINQ provides quantitative reports that include brain images with color-coded segmentations and visual plots that show how the measurements compare with reference data.
