UK Dialysis Devicemaker Names New North American President

Quanta Dialysis Technologies, a UK dialysis device developer based in Alcester, Warwickshire, has chosen John Lipman as its new president of North America.

Lipman will lead the devicemaker’s commercial operations in the U.S. and is currently organizing the commercial launch of the company’s portable hemodialysis system, SC+, which will occur soon after it obtains 510(k) marketing clearance.

Lipman brings more than 25 years of medical device industry experience to the company. He most recently served with Quanta as a consultant. Prior to that role, he was chief commercial officer at NightBalance, where he helmed the U.S. launch of the company’s Lunoa sleep-therapy device.
