CytoVeris Names New Medical Device Adviser

Connecticut-based CytoVeris, a company developing optical-based, guided surgical tools for cancer surgery, has appointed Scott Flora as a strategic adviser.

Flora brings four decades of experience in the device sector and he has served in numerous senior executive and advisory roles, including as interim president and CEO of Invuity, executive director of Conventus Orthopaedics, and president and CEO of OmniGuide Surgical.

CytoVeris said it aims to leverage Flora’s extensive experience to disrupt “the current paradigm of breast cancer surgery” by enabling surgical oncologists to identify and remove all tumor tissue during surgery.
