Diabeloop Earns CE Mark for Diabetes Management System

Diabeloop’s DBL-hu, a device used to automatically manage highly unstable type 1 diabetes, has received a CE mark certification.

Unstable type 1 diabetes is a rare form of the disease that can cause sudden variations between very high and very low blood sugar levels. The device helps patients manage their condition by improving glycemic control to treat both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.

The Grenoble, France-based company secured a CE mark in November 2018 for its DBLG1 System, its first device for automated diabetes management.
