iRhythm Receives UK Recommendation for Cardiac Monitor

December 3, 2020

iRhythm Technologies has received a recommendation from the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for use by the UK’s National Health Service of its Zio XT wearable cardiac monitor.

The device requires no battery-charging and allows clinicians to track the devices and manage patient care.

NICE concluded that the Zio XT offers “greater patient compliance and improved diagnostic yield” compared with standard 24-hour monitoring, the company said.
