Bruker Nabs CE Mark for COVID-19 Multitest

Billerica, Mass.-based Bruker has received CE mark certification for its FluoroType SARS-CoV-2/Flu/RSV polymerase chain reaction (PCR) panel.

The test uses nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs or saliva samples to detect COVID-19, influenza A and B, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and includes the reagents needed to produce up to 96 test results in under two hours.

The multitest panel is used with the company’s FluoroCycler XT and other real-time thermocyclers and can also be run on Bruker’s GenoXtract devices.
