FDA Clears VisionQuest’s Image-Quality Analyzer Tool

VisionQuest Biomedical has reeceived 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Image-Quality Analyzer (IQA) software.

The software, which is designed for retinal cameras, reduces unreadable images taken in teleretinal screening programs. It can be used with both tabletop and portable retinal cameras.

The software is intended for use in importing, displaying, assessing and managing images taken by digital fundus cameras, which are used to take pictures of the back part of the eye.
