Therapixel Earns CE Mark for Mammogram Screening Software

Therapixel has been granted CE mark certification for MammoScreen, an artificial intelligence-based software product that assists radiologists in interpreting screening mammograms for breast cancer.

The software automatically identifies suspicious mammograms and lesions for the radiologist, assigning a score from one to 10 that ranks the probability of malignancy and the degree of confidence of the algorithm.

The technology also helps speed up the interpretation of benign images, enabling radiologists to focus on cases that may need more attention. The software received FDA clearance in July 2020.
