Eitan Medical’s Upgraded Infusion-Pump Software Cleared

Eitan Medical has received 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA for its Sapphire infusion pump software, Rev15.

The pump’s upgraded hardware and software support a wider range of pain management therapies, offering enhanced preset programs and prompts, the company said.

The infusion pump is designed to deliver therapies for different clinical uses, including saline, total parenteral nutrition, lipids, IV drugs, perineural drugs, epidural drugs, blood and blood products.
