Inspired Spine’s Sacroiliac Joint-Screw System Cleared

Burnsville, Minn.-based Inspired Spine has received 510(k) marketing clearance for its Trident sacroiliac joint-screw system used to relieve back pain.

The system features an integrated delivery and implant method that uses a small number of instruments to simplify procedures. The company said the system offers an alternative to the multiple-component instrument trays currently used by other fusion systems by combining multiple instruments into a single screw.

Inspired Spine claims its patent-pending joint-fusion system will result in “surgery durations of less than 15 minutes.”
