iMedrix Picks New CEO to Steer Marketing of Mobile ECG System

Mobile electrocardiogram (ECG) devicemaker iMedrix has selected Tim O’Malley as its new CEO as it looks to introduce its KardioScreen Mobile ECG system to the U.S. market.

A medtech industry veteran, O’Malley will oversee commercialization of the KardioScreen system, which has received FDA 510(k) clearance and has already been marketed in Asia. The mobile device can be used outside of hospital settings to capture diagnostic grade ECGs and to monitor patients remotely using Cloud technology.

O’Malley previously served as Siemens’ vice president and division manager of the company’s North American electromedical-products wing for 16 years and as CEO of Medwave.
