SyntheticMR, United Imaging Partner to Market and Sell MRI Technology

SyntheticMR has signed a global license agreement with United Imaging, a medical imaging equipment provider headquartered in Shanghai, China, to market and sell the Sweden-based company’s brain and musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) software.

SyntheticMR’s SyMRI system provides multiple adjustable contrast images and quantitative data on the brain and musculoskeletal anatomy using a six-minute MRI scan.

The SyMRI NEURO brain analysis component has been cleared in the U.S. and the EU for use with multiple MRI systems, while the company’s musculoskeletal analysis software is awaiting 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA.
