Alveo Technologies’ At-Home COVID-19 Test Earns CE Mark

Alveo Technologies has been given CE mark certification for its be.well COVID-19 molecular test, its first regulatory approval.

According to the company, the test is designed to be used at home and delivers results in 30 minutes. It comes with nasal swabs, disposable cartridges, a handheld analyzer and an accompanying smartphone app.

The company said that it intends to submit an Emergency Use Authorization application to the FDA for the test.
