Eurofins’ COVID-19 Test Gets European Clearance

Eurofins has gained the CE mark for its serological SARS-CoV-2 assay, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit.

The company’s GSD NovaLisa SARS-CoV-2 quantitative IgG antibody test detects antibodies generated either by a vaccination or a natural infection.

Eurofins said that the test can distinguish between vaccinated patients and patients who had an asymptomatic infection before or after inoculation.
