Vocalis Health’s COVID-19 Screening Tool Gets CE Mark

Vocalis Health has received CE mark certification for VocalisCheck, a software-only product used to screen for COVID-19.

The software analyzes a 20-second recording of the patient’s voice that is converted into a spectrogram and compared with the voices of COVID-19 positive patients using artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques.

VocalisCheck can be accessed by smartphones and other devices. It is not meant to serve as a diagnostic tool, but rather as a screening tool that delivers a risk score to identify patients who may require additional diagnostic testing.
