Vax-Immune’s Pregnancy-Infection Test Obtains CE Mark

Vax-Immune has received CE mark certification for its LabReady test, a diagnostic designed to detect infections in pregnant women.

The test is used to detect infections in pregnant women prior to delivery and help reduce infection-related infant deaths. It can also help to lessen the use of unneeded antibiotics in pregnant women and newborns.

The company said that it anticipates the diagnostic device to become available in European countries as soon as the summer.
