ProciseDx’s Fecal Calprotectin Point-of-Care Test CE Marked

February 25, 2021

ProciseDx has earned CE mark certification for its fecal calprotectin point-of-care test, which is designed to speed up the diagnosis of Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and other digestive conditions.

The test simplifies the collection of stool samples, enabling at-home collection using a device that meters the stool into a liquid buffer for direct testing and eliminates the need for special handling equipment in the doctor’s office or lab.

The fecal calprotectin test is used on the company’s ProciseDx platform and can be completed in under five minutes, the company said.
