Axonics, Micro Systems Technologies Partner on Nonrechargeable SNM Device

Axonics has struck another agreement with Micro Systems Technologies (MST), enlisting the medical microelectronics manufacturer’s help in making its nonrechargeable sacral neuromodulation (SNM) device.

The expanded partnership will see MST manufacture Axonics’ nonrechargeable implantable SNM device, a product designed for treating bladder and bowel dysfunction. The device has not yet received FDA approval.

MST currently makes printed circuit-board assemblies for Axonics’ rechargeable SNM system at its Lake Oswego, Oregon, facility.
