Cambridge Sleep Sciences, Parkinson’s Concierge Team Up to Evaluate Sleep Device

March 17, 2021

Cambridge Sleep Sciences has reached a collaboration agreement with Parkinson’s Concierge, an advocacy group, to study Cambridge’s SleepHub insomnia treatment in patients with Parkinson’s disease.

The pair will assess the efficacy of SleepHub — a device that has been shown to help insomnia patients sleep better — in Parkinson’s patients prior to the launch of formal clinical trials.

The SleepHub device works by playing scientifically formulated sounds through high-quality speakers, using specific beats and pulses to help modulate sleep patterns and emulate the brain waves produced during sleep.
