Recovery Force Earns 510(k) Clearance for Mobility-Measurement System

The FDA has granted Recovery Force 510(k) clearance for its Movement and Compressions (MAC) System, a device that can be used in the hospital or home to measure patients’ mobility and provide compression.

The system provides compression to the lower leg while gathering patient mobility data in real-time for in-hospital mobility exercise and to help prevent deep-vein thrombosis.

The MAC system is a low-profile, wearable device that does not use cords or hoses and operates without emitting disruptive pump noise.
