Aurora Spine Obtains FDA Clearance for Anterior Cervical Plate System

Aurora Spine has been given 510(k) clearance by the FDA for its APOLLO Anterior Cervical Plate system, a set of customizable implants for the anterior cervical spine.

The implant system is designed to help reduce common complications seen after cervical spine surgery, including swallowing difficulties, malalignment and adjacent-level ossification.

The Apollo system offers a wide range of implant length options for differing patient anatomies and a variety of screws with fixed and variable angles to improve screw placement and locking accuracy.
