Surgalign Spine Technologies Selects Executive Vice President of Digital Surgery

Surgalign Spine Technologies has appointed Marc Mackey to serve as its executive vice president of digital surgery, a newly created post at the company that will see him directly report to CEO Terry Rich.

Mackey will lead the company’s interdisciplinary Digital Surgery Team, which was formed when Surgalign acquired Holo Surgical, a Chicago-based developer of digital surgery devices that use AI and augmented reality technology.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in orthopedic and surgical enabling technology spanning across business functions including product development and strategic marketing, business development, technology innovation and corporate strategy. He worked at Brainlab for more than 20 years as its orthopedic division head.
