FDA Clears Motus GI’s Pure-Vu System for Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

The FDA has given 510(k) clearance for a new version of Motus GI’s Pure-Vu System, clearing the device for use in upper gastrointestinal endoscopies.

The system is used to clear blood, blood clots and debris to provide enhanced visibility for endoscopists. It is specifically designed to integrate with therapeutic gastroscopes to provide safe and rapid cleansing during procedures.

Pure-Vu was previously cleared for use with standard and slim colonoscopes to improve visualization during colonoscopies by irrigating the colon and removing debris.
