DermaSensor Granted FDA Breakthrough Designation for Skin Cancer Detection Tool

The FDA has given DermaSensor Breakthrough Device designation for its DermaSensor skin cancer detection device.

The device was designed to serve as a tool to support the assessment of lesions that may be indicative of skin cancer. It analyzes the cellular structures within the skin in seconds.

The noninvasive device is gently pressed to the skin, where it takes instant spectroscopic recordings that are analyzed using a machine learning algorithm to deliver an immediate result.
