Desktop Health’s 3D-Printed Dental Prosthetic Resin Cleared

Desktop Health has been granted 510(k) clearance by the FDA for Flexcera Base, a proprietary resin used in the 3D printing of dental prosthetics.

The resin is used with EnvisionTEC 3D printers to print up to eight customized Flexcera dentures in under two hours.

The product mimics the natural translucency of teeth and is highly resistant to fracture and moisture, which prevents staining and discoloration.
