Intersect ENT Earns CE Mark for Sinus Implant

Intersect ENT has received CE mark certification for its Propel Contour device, an implant designed for use in sinus surgery.

The device is designed to maintain patency, reduce inflammation and conform to the sinus openings by providing mechanical support and steroid delivery in sinus surgery for chronic rhinosinusitis, an inflammatory disease of the paranasal sinuses.

The implant uses an hourglass shape designed specifically for placement in the frontal sinuses between the eyebrows after sinus surgery for chronic rhinosinusitis.
