Advanced Human Imaging's Dermatology AI Gains CE Mark

Advanced Human Imaging (AHI) has received CE mark certification for its artificial intelligence (AI)-based skin analysis software, Derma AI, that can identify hundreds of skin conditions using an image from a smartphone camera.

The Australian company partnered with Canada’s Triage Technologies, securing distribution rights for Triage's AI for use in its DermaScan platform, which enables health practitioners to get “an instant second opinion” on skin conditions.

The CE mark validates the AI-powered tool as a “credible option and gives physicians and patients within the EU access to reliable information so they can make an informed decision," said AHI CEO Vlado Bosanac.
