Avicenna.AI’s Chest Radiology Tool Earns CE Mark, FDA Clearance

Avicenna.AI has been granted FDA clearance and CE mark certification for its Cina Chest technology, an artificial intelligence (AI) solution that uses deep learning to conduct emergency triage of serious vascular conditions.

The technology rapidly and automatically detects pulmonary embolism, giving clinicians accurate, real-time alerts.

It is also able to identify acute cases of aortic dissection, tears in the aorta’s inner layer that require urgent intervention.
