Siemens Healthineers’ Heart Catheter Gets CE Mark

Siemens Healthineers has received CE mark certification for its AcuNav volume intracardiac echocardiography catheter.

The catheter serves as an imaging guide within the heart, providing real-time, wide-angle visualization of the cardiac anatomy during structural heart and electrophysiology procedures.

According to the company, the device enables the treatment of patients who were previously unable to receive structural heart procedures, such as patients with general anesthesia contraindications or patients with tricuspid regurgitation.
