Zimmer Biomet Appoints Surgeon to Newly Created Innovation Role

Zimmer Biomet has named Nitin Goyal to serve as chief science, technology and innovation officer, a newly created role at the company.

Goyal is a practicing hip and knee reconstruction surgeon and the founder and CEO of Pulse Platform and Surgical Creations. In his new position, he will oversee Zimmer Biomet’s advanced research and product development.

Goyal will also supervise medical education, clinical affairs and healthcare provider collaboration at the company.
