China’s SonoScape Gains CE Mark for New Endoscope

Endoscope developer SonoScape has received the CE mark for its new ultrasound, linear-array echoendoscope EG-UC5T.

The device has a large, 4-mm instrument channel and a rigid distal end that enables tissue sampling and a range of therapeutic procedures under sonographic guidance.

The EG-UC5T is the latest in the Shenzhen, China-based company’s ultrasound line launched in 2019 following CE mark certification of its EG-UR5 360-degree radial echoendoscope.
