NG Biotech Gets CE Mark for COVID-19 Self-Test

France-based NG Biotech has obtained the CE mark for its Ninonasal COVID-19 antigen self-test.

The Ninonasal test can also be used to test children under adult supervision, providing results from nasal samples within minutes, the company said.

Ninonasal can detect the Delta variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus first identified in India, which has become the dominant strain in many countries. The test received emergency approval for home use from the French National Authority for Health in April.
