FDA Grants 510(k) Clearance to Latest Version of Volpara Imaging Software

Volpara Health has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for the latest version of its Volpara imaging software for breast care.

The new version, VIS 3.2, offers better imaging processing security and makes it easier to update the software, the Seattle, Wash.-based company said.

The new FDA clearance also allows the software to be used on Siemens and Giotto mammography machines.
