RealView Imaging’s Medical Holography System Cleared

RealView Imaging has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for its Holoscope-i medical holographic system.

The Israel-based company says the system creates spatially accurate, 3D interactive medical holograms based on data received from standard computed tomography scans and 3D ultrasound systems.

The 3D visualizations allow physicians to interact with holograms of the patient's actual anatomy prior to and during interventional procedures without the need for a head-mounted device, special eyewear or interaction tools.
