Welspun India’s Surgical Masks Cleared

Welspun India has received 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA for its three-ply surgical masks.

The Welspun surgical masks, which have also received CE mark certification, are made of 100 percent polypropylene and offer 98 percent protection against bacterial load, according to the company.

Welspun said it has also earned CE mark certification for a half-face respirator with a valve for increased COVID-19 protection.
