Limbic Gets UKCA Mark for Mental Health Software
Health technology firm Limbic has received a UKCA mark — the UK’s post-Brexit version of the CE mark — for its Limbic Access software used to augment mental health assessments by healthcare services.
The software enables patient self-referrals to the National Health Service’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies program.
Limbic says the software meets the standards of both the UK Medical Device Regulation and European Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices.
The company also offers three related products: Limbic Self-Care, which delivers cognitive behavior therapy support for patients on the waitlist; Limbic Care, which offers personalized support and remote monitoring for patients in treatment; and Limbic Prevent, which provides relapse prevention post-treatment.
